OMG cutest thing ever

   So Liz couldn't make it to rehearsal today. Salil forgot that she had emailed him to announce her planned absence, so I (the dragon's assistant aka the S&M aka the stage manager) called her house and left a message wondering where she was. I got this email later today:

   
Dear Ms. [my last name],

   I'm sorry that I couldn't make it today. I e-mailed Mr. Singh and told him that I might not be able to make the rehearsal today because an urgent doctor's appointment was scheduled at 2:15. The appointment lasted longer than anyone thought it would and ended at 4:00.

   I apologize for not e-mailing you. Should I do so in the future?

   I reread The Golden Compass today. Awesome book, and this time I absorbed it much better than I did when I was like 9 (or whenever I read it for the first time).

   So not juiced for snow trip. Oh well.
